The Safe Network has commissioned Charities Evaluation Services (CES) to independently evaluate the work we do in supporting the voluntary sector on safeguarding and child protection issues.
Over the coming months Charities Evaluation Services (CES) will be seeking feedback from groups and individuals on the services they have received from the Safe Network.
If you have made use of any of our services, this evaluation will be an important opportunity to let us know what you think, and to help us plan how we might meet the sector’s support needs in the future. There are a number of ways you can have your say – for instance, via an online survey, or by agreeing to speak to one of the CES evaluators in a short feedback interview. We really hope that as many organisations as possible will take part.
If you have registered with the Safe Network, and if you have said that it’s OK for us to send you information, you may receive a direct invitation to take part in the evaluation, but you don’t need to wait to be invited – the online survey is open to all and you can take part simply by clicking on the link below. Furthermore, simply by completing the survey, you could win £75.

What we hope to find out
Our work at the Safe Network aims to help voluntary and community organisations keep children and young people safe from harm. Our services are intended to help organisations with the safeguarding and child protection issues that most concern them, for instance:
The evaluation conducted by CES will give us an independent and objective assessment of how far we are helping organisations with these issues. As well as helping us report to our funder, the Department for Education, we also hope that the learning from the evaluation will help us plan for the future.
