Latest news 

A successful safeguarding event was held early in February 2010 in Berwick Upon Tweed, Northumberland. The main focus of the day was The Safe Network, The Vetting and Barring Scheme and identifying sector needs.

The Safe Network, Regional Development Manager from the North East  co-hosted at an event in partnership with VoiCes Northumberland to promote awareness around safeguarding.

The day gave local groups a chance put any safeguarding queries forward, learn about The Safe Network,The Vetting and Barring Scheme, network and share good practice with groups from the area.
