This NSPCC conference focusses on how Local Safeguarding Children Boards can better engage with children and young people in the community.
When is it? : 17/06/2010 
Where is it? : The Carriageworks, Leeds                Time: 9.30am - 3pm

The conference will:

  • help LSCBs to convert their commitment to involving children and young people into specific activities and models of working
  • provide a range of tools and methods for participation, through showcases and live consultations
  • model the benefits of including young people in LSCB activity by involving young people directly in the conference.

Speakers include John Grounds, director of child protection consultancy for the NSPCC and children's commissioner for England, Dr Maggie Atkinson.
