The FREE safeguarding workshop is based on the Safe Network core safeguarding standards and in particular the 'Avoiding accidents and running safe activities and events' element. The session will include close links to Child Safety Week 2012. The aim of the workshops is to enable delegates to develop safe practice in running safe activities and to introduce important safeguarding children and young people guidance. Participants will have the opportunity to explore some key protective behaviour ideas which they can use to improve safeguarding practice in their own group or organisation.
