This free seminar that will provide colleagues in the voluntary and community sector with the opportunity to familiarise themselves with and assess the implications of:

• The development of new Working Together to Safeguard Children guidance, via its consultative stage.
• The Protection of Freedoms Act 2012 (Vetting and Barring) and the associated Disclosure and Barring Service.

In addition the afternoon will feature a session led by Safer Internet UK on e-safety focusing on;

• Safe Social Media - Facebook, Twitter, internet  trends, developments and emerging practice and issues.
