  • knowledge of working with black and minority ethnic communities

The Safe Network has developed an exciting and innovative CD Rom based resource that allows facilitators to take safeguarding to the very heart of black and minority ethnic communities.
Girl smilingThis unique training resource provides an opportunity for sharing and learning about positive and harmful childcare practices and ways in which children can be kept safe.

The resource is divided into three modules allowing facilitators to select activities from each to develop a training course or select individual sessions depending on the needs of service users.

Delegates need to make a commitment to run a minimum of at least one workshop in their area upon completion of this training.
