A new website that allows parents to report unsuitable media content has been launched. Their aims is to set and enforce standards across the media to protect children from inappropriate material.
The new ParentPort website gives parents the chance to report unsuitable media content, has been launched following the Government commissioned Bailey Review of the Commercialisation and Sexualisation of Childhood.
ParentPort, is being run by the UK’s media regulators, makes the process of complaining easier, provides advice about staying safe online and also has a section called ‘have your say’ where parents can provide informal feedback and comments.
