The Conversation message boards are pre-moderated, this means that every single message is checked before it appears on the boards. This makes sure that:
- we get a better idea of how the boards are being used so we can keep improving them.
- we respect the sensitivity of the content and maintain quality and appriopriateness.
Once a user posts a reply or suggests a new topic the moderator is alerted that a new message is ready for review. The moderator will then review this checking that:
- it meets the house rules
- the moderator has the right to, but is not obligated to, edit, remove, move or close any message, or group of messages for any reason.
If a message is approved then it will be added to the relevant topic. You will not be notified when this happens. Please revisit and check the discussion topic regularly to see if your message has been added.
If your message is rejected then it will not be posted to the site. You will not be notified when this happens
In exceptional circumstances our moderator may feel it appropriate to contact you directly. If this is the case our moderator will email you to the address supplied at registration. This will be on a confidential basis and will not be via the discussion boards.
Due to the Conversation opening hours we may not be able to check your messages straight away.
