Independent Christian charity providing professional advice, support, training and resources in all areas of safeguarding children and for those affected by abuse.

Churches Together in Britain and Ireland (CTBI)
The umbrella body for the Christian churches dealing with issues relevant to England, Scotland, Ireland and Wales.

Confederation of Indian Organisations (UK)
National organisation working with South Asian communities to ensure that their needs are incorporated within national and local policy.

Council of Ethnic Minority Voluntary Sector Organisations (CEMVO)
Registered charity that is committed to extending opportunities to people from the most disadvantaged communities in the UK.

Support for Muslim voluntary and community groups nationwide. This includes training, policy development, fundraising advice and networking opportunities.

Social policy think-tank focusing on issues that affect Black, Asian and minority ethnic  communities.

Partnership of national and regional BME led third sector organisations at local, regional, and national levels to all types of policy-makers.

An umbrella body of  faith based organisations in the Borough of Waltham Forest including religious congregations such as churches, mosques, synagogues, temples and gurdwaras, faith based or inspired charities and organisations, and faith schools.

Many organisations choose to carry out their Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) checks on employees using an umbrella body as a third party.

CRB umbrella bodies offer a variety of services such as checking, counter-signing and forwarding completed forms to the Criminal Records Bureau, making sure sufficient identification and personal details have been provided.
