The Safe Network is working together with EduCare to provide free child protection training in the third sector.

EduCare are specialists in short, interactive distance learning programmes and partner with experts in a wide range of different subject areas. Learning with EduCare is easy and enjoyable, so much so that to date over a million people have completed training through them.
The NSPCC and EduCare have been partners for over 12 years and together have developed 10 popular learning programmes on aspects of safeguarding children and young people.
How will I learn?
The programmes are arranged in concise, bite-size modules, accompanied by multiple choice questionnaires to test knowledge and understanding. Those who successfully complete their programme receive a personalised certificate.
Which programmes are available?
This free training offer allows any not-for-profit organisation to complete any of the following four EduCare programmes, subject to availability:
NSPCC Child Protection Awareness - This four module programme is designed for anyone who comes into contact with children during their work, voluntary or leisure activities. It gives essential information such as what abuse is, the different types of abuse, identifying possible signs and indicators of abuse and who to turn to should you suspect a child is being abused. It also gives pointers to good practice on staff recruitment.
